Simon - too cute!!!

You've seen Simon a few times before. His mom wanted some Easter pictures of him - so, we ran around the lawn at UCA and played in the tulips Monday afternoon. So much fun! Simon is a hoot, and if he hears that he's gotten a laugh out of you, he'll keep doing whatever he did to make you laugh! And boy, can he dance! ha ha!

I got some new actions yesterday, so I tried a few of them out on Simon's pictures. I like this one below.

Alison, it's always so much fun for me to take pictures of Simon. It's good seeing you and your mom and getting to hang out while we watch and laugh at Simon! :) Thanks for trusting me to capture your kiddo!!! :)

Tyler & Jill

I met Jill and Tyler both for the first time at our shoot on Monday. Sometimes it's hard to shoot a couple well that I have never met, because I don't know them - their style, their personalities - what kind of pictures best fit them. That was not a problem Monday, since after about 5 minutes of being around Jill, it's easy to see what a fun-loving, laid back, exciting personality she has! I was laughing and having the best time! They are getting married on the beach! How fun!

Brady

Brady learned a new trick about 5 seconds before I walked in the door yesterday, so he kept trying it out for our pictures! A lot of the shots I got were of him sticking his tongue out (his new trick), but I managed to get a few sans tongue. ha ha! Here are a few from yesterday. I had to post one with the tongue out. lol!

The Swanns

Despite the all day gloominess of the clouds, the rain held off on Thursday, and it actually turned out to be a great day for pictures! I met the Swanns on Thursday afternoon for some family portraits. They are a sweet family, and one more connection I have to Lauren Hymer. If you are a long time blog reader, you have read my story of Lauren a few times on here. Todd Swann is Lauren's uncle. I met him not long ago, then shortly after, they called wanting me to take some family pictures - and of course I was happy to oblige! Todd was also needing some family pictures for his website www.toddswanndds.com. He is a dentist in Greenbrier, and is building a new website for his practice.

Busy Bee

Hey everyone! I know, I know...you all are thinking "this is, like, her 5th blog in a week!" lol! i have been blogging more than normal lately, but it's because i've go such wonderful clients!!! i hope to keep the blogs coming. I have one set of pics right now that i will get posted soon, and i have 3 shoots next week, plus a wedding! I've also got lots scheduled for April. So, there is lots more to come! I hope you like what you see when you visit my blog! :) And, i want to say thanks to everyone out there who visits the blog! Thanks to everyone who loves my work enough to trust me to capture your memories! And thanks to you all who tell your friends and family about me! Word of mouth has been my best form of advertisement! I've decided that I might possibly have THE best clients ever! :)

Yesterday afternoon, I got to shoot Tyler and Trevor. They have a few previous posts on my blog, so you might remember them. They have gotten so big, and I now feel very old! I have known them both since they were born, so hearing that Tyler is in the 9th grade was a bit depressing! :) Here are some of my faves!!

Rhyan is One!

I am so on top of this blogging thing! I took Rhyan's pictures a mere 5 hours ago! Truth is, I'm on spring break from my full time job, so I have a bit more time than I normally do! :) Gotta love spring break! I am sure you remember Rhyan! She has gotten so big so fast! I can't believe she's one! It is so crazy to see these little ones grow up. Such a blessing! Here are some of my favorites for our shoot. I LOVE her birthday tu tu!!!

Has anyone seen the Filet-O-Fish commercial with that stupid singing fish hanging on the wall?! It drives me crazy - partly because it's a really dumb commercial, but mostly because after I see it, I'm singing that stupid song for the next day! :) It just came on TV as I was blogging, so I thought I'd share! ha ha!

Ben & Libby: Engaged!

I met Ben & Libby in Sunday School...hmmm...about a year ago, maybe. They are a super fun couple, so I was excited when they asked me to shoot their wedding! Monday, we went to the UCA fountain (where they got engaged) and the Rivermarket in Little Rock to shoot their engagement pictures. Here are some of my favorites! These first two are with their adorable Golden Doodle "Gus". He is such a model!


Big thanks to Arkansas Studies Institute (show in the background below)!! They let us come inside and wander around and take pictures. That place is great! Great light. Great textures! Great everything! There are a couple more shots later that are inside the building.
