Birth Announcements

Birth Announcements are such a fun idea, especially when they include a picture of your brand new baby! I would love to photograph your newborn AND custom design your birth announcements! Here are some ideas I put together last night, but if you don't see something you like, let me know and I can design one to your specifications. I can also design them with multiple pictures! These designs are 4x8 and 4x5. The 4x8 size come with white envelopes.
I used Baby Jay's picture for the boy announcements. I did not have any baby girl pictures, so you will have to use your imagination!

Baby Jay, Trey, & Christina

Over the past couple years, Trey and Christina have become wonderful friends of mine! They are such a fun couple!! On December 7 they welcomed the newest member of their family into the world!! Baby Jay was born a week AFTER his due date!! I had the wonderful opportunity to take their pictures only 1 week after he was born! Here are a few from our shoot.I really like this one a lot. Such a sweet face! It took a while to figure out what he liked and didn't like, but when we finally did, he was the perfect model!

Jay in his Santa hat! He was all dressed up and ready for Christmas!

Watson Family Pictures

My sister and I had the bright idea of getting family pictures this year, and since we missed the pretty fall outdoor scenes, we opted for an indoor shoot. Now, my sister used her camera and took most of the shots from this day. I, however, edited them. So, here are the results of our joint effort......and boy, was it an effort!!
Here is the whole family! All of us looking at the camera and smiling.....truly a miracle - and I think the only shot that turned out decent from the 20 we took!! I took this one since Christina is IN it. The kids get photographed so much and they really do get tired of it. But, they held out pretty well this day.....only mild complaining and some antics, but not too bad! :) ha ha...
And, I am quite the proud aunt, so it stands to reason that I would include this picture on my blog!!! The best and cutest kids in the world!!

Layne & Riley

Layne is the son of one of my co-workers, and this day was his 2nd birthday. We were laughing because he is such a happy kid, but seems to have such solemn face in his pictures! Here are a couple we managed to get while he was smiling!Layne LOVES Thomas the Tank Engine, so we let him read while we took some pictures!
This is Layne and his cousin Riley. We had some trouble getting a good shot with BOTH of them smiling and looking at the camera! This one probably isn't framing quality, but I thought it was a great depiction of how the day went! :)

Sam

I got a chance to take some fun pictures of my cousin over the Thanksgiving Holiday! He loves to play guitar, so we got some fun shots of that! However, I am sure he will have something to say about the fact that his face isn't in any of them! Ha ha!!!

Trey, Megan & Nick

Family pictures are always fun! These pictures are a surprise gift for Mom for Christmas! We had fun taking them!

Taylor

If you check out my blog regularly, you have seen this girl before. She loves to have her picture taken, and I love taking her picture! These were a few we took last week .

Randall & Abby Jo

OK, this was a crazy session!! We took these in down town Bald Knob right before a storm and a massive cold front rolled in! So....we were rushing just a tiny bit! :) ha ha! however, we were able to grab a few good shots.

Randall and Abby, my Thanksgiving was complete by getting to hang out and eat dinner with you two! Good friends are hard to find and even harder to keep, and I am so blessed to have you in my life!!! I am sorry we don't get to see each other more often, but the times we do get to visit are SO special to me! Love you!!!!!

Christmas Card Ideas

It's that time of year again! When we drag out the tinsel, lights, and decorate until everything that stands still for more than 30 seconds is covered in Holiday cheer!!! I LOVE the holidays! Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's......such a wonderful time of the year. And, with that comes.....Christmas Cards!!!!! I would love to design yours! I can take pictures for you, OR I can use pictures you already have to design a custom card for you and your family! Here are some ideas below, but I can design a card suited to your preference.

Gracyn, Philip & Kristyn

Philip and Kristyn are dear friends of mine, and I got to take their family pictures over Thanksgiving break. These are for their Christmas cards, but I also got a chance to take a few of their precious little girl, Gracyn. So much fun!

Jack, Clif & Kristi

This is Jack. He is about to turn one! His parents are wonderful friends of mine from college, and I got the pleasure of taking their picture yesterday. Jack is one of the happiest kids!! He laughed and smiled all day! And he LOVES the feel of wind blowing in his face!! So adorable. He did great for these pictures - totally himself!! Great shot, but he almost went off into that water!! Good thing mom was there to catch him! No fear!! Kristi was behind me trying to get his attention - so he waved at her!

Clif & Kristi, you are both so dear to me, and you have a precious son! Such a comfort to know you are raising him to love the Lord! I hope it isn't a year before we see each other again! I love you both very much! Thanks so much for letting me photograph your family!!!
