Josh & Kelsey: Engaged!

This past, very beautiful, Sunday afternoon, I met Josh & Kelsey in down town Conway for their engagement pictures. So. Much. Fun. I have known Kelsey for a few years now. She was a student at CBC where I worked and was in a bible study that I led. She is super cute and totally precious! I was super excited to get to see Josh again and take their engagement pictures. As you can tell, I had a little trouble narrowing it down. :)

Lydia & Luke

Saturday, I met Lydia & Luke, along with their mom and dad, for some family pictures. The weather was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day! Enjoy!

Izzie, Ian & Asa

Saturday morning, the weather was BEAUTIFUL!!! It was perfect for taking pictures - and these 3 cuties were perfect for that job! :) Meet Izzie, Ian and Asa. They are cousins to Anna Catherine and Eli from a few posts ago - here. These kiddos dad and Anna and Eli's mom are brother and sister who also happen to be my 2nd cousins - if you caught all that. LOL! Anyway, here are some of my favorites from the day.

Izzie is almost 5, and she did so good for me! Check out these beautiful eyes.

Ian is the more serious twin and has gorgeous blue eyes!!!

Emma: 9 Months

Emma is 9 months old and has gotten so big! She was all smiles for me yesterday, so it made my job SUPER easy! :) I got these edited for blogging and realized I edited them in a way that gave them sort of a vintage feel. It wasn't intentional, but I really like them. I had lots of favorites, so it was hard to narrow them down! Here are a few. Enjoy!

Confession

I have a confession.

I'm a nerd.

And when I say nerd, I mean NERD! The target lady would even say "Classic nerd to the max!!"

For my friends, this comes as no surprise at all. For those of you who don't know me that well, it's time you knew.

I hope you can still be my friend. I hope this has no bearing on how you view me as a photographer.

I am ridiculously addicted to school supplies. I HATE Wal-Mart, but just getting to walk down the school supply aisle is enough to make me want to go. I don't know what it is - the crisp, clean look of brand new pencils that haven't been chewed on or banged up, capped my sharp edged erasers. Or maybe it's markers that are dark and heavy on the paper because they are brand new and have all their ink - or sharp crayons!!! Or maybe it's the perfectly clean white lined pages of a spiral notebook waiting to be filled with notes (from the lecture or to your best friend who sits in the desk behind you). I can't quite put my finger on it, but they are so fun to buy! So much fun that I actually bought these and didn't even need them! :) They make me smile, so I thought I'd pass that smile along to you today. Enjoy my school supplies, go buy some for yourself, or better yet, find a kid who can't afford them, and buy some for them!

Now, excuse me while I go fight the urge to doodle my first name with that cute guy's last name all over the front of one of my new notebooks. :)

Ayden

Yesterday afternoon, I met Ayden and his parents for some newborn shots of this little one. He is close to a month old, so he was awake for some of the photos. Here are some of my favorites. Their house has the most wonderful light!!!

Bryce Baker is one!!

For those of you who have followed my blog for a while will remember the post about my friend Jill. If not, you can find it here. This past weekend, Cari and I drove down to El Dorado to hang out with Scott, take one year pictures of Bryce (yes, he is one!), and go to his super cool Razorbacks birthday party. I was exhausted when I got home, but I couldn't wait to post a few of Bryce with his adorable smile!!! Here are some of my favorites, but I really had trouble narrowing them down. I will post an entire album of him on my Facebook Fan Page, so you can mosey on over in a week or so to check them out! :)

Scott, it was so great to see you and Bryce and half of the Wyatt church family this weekend! Thanks for humoring me when I asked to take Bryce's pics! And thanks for letting me invite myself to his party! lol!! It was the social event of the season!! :) I love you both so very much!!!
